Disney Christmas Decor

This post is dedicated to the AWESOME Christmas decorations at Disney. As with everything, Disney went all out and it was an awesome sight to behold at every turn. I would highly recommend visiting during the Christmas Holiday to anyojne who loves Christmas!!

The castle was beautiful!!!! My picture does not do it justice at all!!!

We just happened upon this light show at MGM called the Osbourne Family Lights...it was awesome!!! The lights "danced" to the music and it was SNOWING!!!!! One street was made to look just like Times Square NY at Christmas. Very Cool

The Christmas Parade was wonderful with all the characters, toy soldiers, gingerbread men, trains, ice skaters (on faux roller skates...really cool) and of course Santa!!

Joey LOVES Scrooge McDuck

These toy soldiers were awesome and huge!!! How people walk in these outfits is amazing...much less dance around :> )

Main Street during the day
The main street tree was huge and TALL

Awesome shaped fireworks....I like this heart one.

The Grand Floridian Lobby...the tree is beautiful but there behind it to the left is a completely edible gingerbread house and store...yes that's right it is so big it has a store inside. It is delicious too! We bought one of the shingles and a small replica....the Disney Secret to great gingerbread...they coat the back with creamy chocolate so it will adhere evenly together. Food Network highlighted the Disney gingerbread houses, they are all 100% edible. We only saw two...there are several around the Disney property...maybe next year : )
An up close picture of the front of the house. The Chef in front is making he replicas that you can buy...very good stuff.
The front porch of the house, all edible!!

The chimney smoked....the smoke was scented of cloves and ginger - only at DISNEY!!

I thought this Santa was AWESOME....he is made of chocolate!!! MMMMMMMMMM! The flowers and foliage are a special type of sugar.
More pics coming of Joey at Disney, but I had to show just how beautiful Disney is during this time.
