Happy 14th Anniversary to Us!

Well, yes folks you read that right Bill and I actually made it 14 years and counting. Even though Bill was feeling under the weather still we headed to St. Augustine (about 10 miles from our house) for a little escape. St. Augustine is the oldest city in America and has a very rich history.

Here is Joey in front of the schoolhouse

an old anchor

The Castillo de San Marcos which unbelievably, we learned, was last used during WWII

Boy those cannonballs are heavy

Can you imagine being stuck in here during a battle....no way!

Joey loved the cannons!

While we were looking at the cannons someone pointed out the family of three dolphins playing below us..... a wonderful gift to our family of three

You can see they were very close to the beach, always an awesome sight

Now onto 15!!!

Mothers Day in the Carribean (kind of)

Bet you will NEVER guess where we went for Mothers Day weekend...we stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort in....well can you guess?? In Disneyworld : ) Who ever would have guessed we would go there! Anyway, we had a great time and we had never stayed at the Caribbean Beach before so it was something new. However, I think when we are shopping in that price point for Disney we prefer the Port Orleans Resorts to this one for weekend travel. The grounds at Caribbean are MASSIVE and it takes a long time to walk to the restaurants and shops. But the wildlife was wonderful!!! well at least for Joey it was : )

Joey loved chasing the ducks and bunnies

and laying in the hammocks

But after our walk standing between us and the door to our room was the now famous (in our house at least) Black snake with white belly, you can see he was ready to strike. Joey just thought he was awesome and still talks about it to this day. We chanced it and ran by him VERY FAST and then called the front desk. The snake catcher came very fast and she assured us that he was after all the lizards running around.

I had called ahead of time and tried to get us reservations for the character dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom, but they TOLD me it was sold out. So while walking by Bill walked in since it didn't look super packed and they told us 10 minutes. (I have noticed this happens a LOT, if you get rejected don't give up try to do a walk-up) Sure enough we got in and it was awesome food (think Thanksgiving style) and even better characters. We must have had at least 2 visits from each character. I would highly recommend this dinner to anyone.

Joey and I with Pluto

Joey VERY excited to see Chip

and Dale

The kid loves Goofy

His "girlfriend" Minnie Mouse...he was so excited she kept coming over to see him

Look at that smile

The next day we went to the Coral Reef at EPCOT to eat for Mothers Day. It is a COOL restaurant inside a huge aquarium. That is what those big windows are behind Joey and I. Joey loved watching the sharks and sea turtles swim by

Then we walked around and looked at the cool topiaries, here are my two favorites

Thanks to Da and Joey for a GREAT Mothers Day! It is such an honor and privilege to be Joey's Mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crazy Hair

Just a cute photo of Joey with crazy hair : )

April Disney Trip

Okay, I know we are nutso Disney-crazy, but honestly we cannot help it!!! Here is our monthly trip for April. We are super-excited to learn that in January Martha and Molly are going to Disney with us! We are going to have a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed again at the All-Star Movies and scored a room in the Dalmatians Building (FYI, always ask for this bldg its closest to buses and stores)....just so happened Joey was wearing his Dalmatians shirt. He loved this life-size TV and was singing and dancing for us and everybody that walked by. The kid is SO SHY...yeah right!!

Donald Duck aka Joey Z (Molly - Joey says you have to get your face painted with him when your with us : )

Goofy's Playground at EPCOT

The train setup for EPCOT's Flower Festival, look at his face he was extremely irritated at me for making him get a pic when he wanted to watch the trains
Chip and Dale surprised us while we took a load off to eat some breakfast.... we weren't even in the park yet

Coloring his KidCot badge, he is really proud of it and has it hanging in his room

Him and I in front of the Haunted Mansion...they told me to point at the ghost and Joey to act scared...I think he did a good job! Disney Trivia Time: The hearse we are in front of was purchased by Walt Disney from John Wayne's production company after it was used in the filming of Sons of Katie Elder also starring Dean Martin & a very young Dennis Hopper (a great movie incidentally)

Mr. Popular

Joey has made so many friends in our neighborhood, that so far this summer he has been to a bunch of bday parties already. Here are some pics from each.

Lauren's Blue's Clues Pool Party - Joey and Lauren are just 2 peas in a pod and both the tallest kids in the bunch!!!

Mr. Joey Cool in sunglasses and floaties jumping in the pool! (This pool is at Lauren's house, I swear their house is like a resort with the pool overlooking a lake, VERY NICE!) Also, notice how disorganized I am....Joey had on 2 different floaties, ooppss ; ~

I told you they were Peas in a Pod, Joey and Lauren munching on pizza

Gavin's Pump-it-up Party - Joey's Thomas Pal had an awesome bday party at Pump-It-Up (could be someone else whose bday is July 19th is having his party here too! wink-wink)

Joey LOVED this slide....he must have gone down 100 times and wanted Mama to go too! Let me tell you folks, want to great in shape do this everyday...I was sore the next morning!

He also loved the climbing obstacle course...doesn't he look so grown up in this pic, very tall

Kyle's Fire Engine Bday Party - Kyle lives across street from us and he had an awesome fire engine bday party with the whole cul-de-sac crew (there are a bunch of us that just kind of hang out in the cul-de-sac and chat while the kids play : )

Joey in his fire fighter hat and sunglasses

A cute pic of Joey and Kyle climbing into the bounce house, try as I might I never got a face-forward pic of them....oh well bottoms up : )

Joey and Josh...another cul-de-sac pal having a blast!!!

Alexa's Pool Party & Bounce Party - Joey's most beautiful pal Alexa had her party at our neighborhood pool and they added a bounce house for even more fun.

Here is Joey jumping with the two Laurens...you notice once again never far from the pretty girls : )

Then we moved to the sprinkler pool

The bday girl soaked to the bone and ready for more

Happy Bday to all and thanks for the invites!!!!

Random Pics

Just some cute random pics I have been meaning to upload.

Here is Joey buried in sand (well more like shells at Micklers Beach: ), he loves digging a big hole and jumping in. We were here again the other day and saw 2 baby sharks washed up on shore, one jellyfish, tons of crabs and a purple starfish...of course that day I FORGOT my camera!!!

Helping Da work in the yard.... cute wheelbarrow courtesy of Rick and Martha : )

Taking his dirt to dump in the garden

He would get tired as you can see from the slumped shoulders...but don't you DARE try and help him. He can do it himself!!!!! I think that is a Gallman trait!!!!

My little artist was SUPPOSED to be coloring on the big sheet of paper I set up for him, he missed the mark a little : )

Our new stove came in this huge box so Joey and Bill made a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse out of it...Joey had a great time coloring it for a week or so, he even still asks what happened to it (We sneaked it to the curb on garbage day)

While Bill was working in the garage, Joey was concerned that the saw noise would bother Daisy so he decided to read her back to sleep, it was VERY cute!!!

A cute pick of our little corn eater, he loves to eat corn-on-the-cob and I love to watch him
