At our wonderful local Micklers beach, the boys had a great time and collected LOTS of shells

A great relaxed pic of the Fanikos Family : )

The boys all spic 'n span and ready for bed

More Disney Fun

Well, blogger isn't letting me move pics around, so these are out of order...sorry : ( Anyway, here are some more fun Disney pics. Everytime we go I think I won't take pics that it will be "old hat" by now...BUT the awesome thing about Disney is everytime is something new and different. We still have so many things we want to see and do but haven't gotten to yet.

My snake boys...Bill and Joey you will notice also love to dress alike : ) silly boys
Joey and Tarzan's Pal (who's name has escaped me)

At the Rainforest Cafe, Joey grabbed this tail, starting shaking it and guess what he said "Go VOLS!!!" we have trained him well : ) Boy did we get nasty looks from the Gator Fan bartender : O)

When at Animal Kingdom be sure to look down occasionally, most of the drains and pipe covers are hidden Mickeys
Legoland at Downtown Disney was awesome, not to mention Downtown Disney's Goofy Bakery has the best baked goods by far in all of Disney!!!!!
We went to the Pirate Party at Magic Kingdom, an awesome event...Joey loved searching for the "hidden treasure" and of course meeting Pirate Mickey. Notice Joey is doing his snake face : )

Animal Kingdom safari, we have learned the way to get on this ride in 5 mins or less, we have never waited....its called Fastpass folks...get it the minute you walk in to the park. This is the best ride, because it is different every time. This pic has zebras, giraffes, and other animals

Joey watching a baby elephant and its Mama!

Getting snaked up

Typhoon Lagoon, a fun place but for toddlers Blizzard Beach is better

The jungle trek at Animal Kingdom...this tiger was right next to us...only a thick pane of glass separating us....he walked right up to the window while we were standing there

Joey and I ready to see Tough to be a Bug...Joey did good but got a little freaked at the stuff flying towards him. I was proud of him.

His 3-D glasses
A hidden Baloo from the Jungle Book.....be sure to look at everything at Disney there is always more than you think : )
Joey having fun at the dino playground

Joey the pirate

Stay tuned for very late Valentines pics....at this rate I should have Easter up by Christmas, haha

Disney Day Out with Mama

First, sorry it has been so long since I have posted an update. In addition to traveling we have had, I think, every virus known to man from the Flu to GI distress : ) Anyway, we are recovering now so here are some updates.

Bill has some projects close to Orlando, so whenever he drives close Joey and I have been asking him to drop us off at Disney for the day. It is the most fun to get some one on one special time with my little man. On this day we went to MGM together. I had been to MGM a bunch but had been reading about a "tucked away" playground called the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground....Joey and I went on a quest to find it (behind the theatre on Times-Square NY) and it is TRULY hidden away but well worth the effort to find it. Now Joey asks all the time to go to the Play-doh playground : ) Everything is HUGE to make you feel like you have been shrunk : )

A huge roll of film as the slide

The extra large insects and blades of grass are really cool

Then Joey and I hit the Playhouse Disney show. I have to say with all the hype around this show, Joey wanted to go back to the playground. But I liked it : )

For lunch, Joey and I TOTALLY lucked out and were able to walk right into Play n' Dine with the Little Einsteins Characters. He loved it and the buffet(s) were great, one little buffet for kids and one large one for parents.

Joey loves Leo!

Dancing with June

Then we stopped to have his face painted. He had been asking and asking to have this done but I honestly did not think my high-energy boy could sit for it, but I was wrong. He did AWESOME and has had his face painted almost every time we go to Disney now...he loves it.

Here he is growling at me and "getting" me with his tiger paw : ) The best part of doing this is watching his imagination really come alive. Each time he chooses a different animal and totally becomes that animal for the day.

Seeing himself the first time.

My little tiger.
I have also been painting his face at home, but I am nowhere close to as good as the Disney artists : )

February Beach Baby

Well just one of the many great things about living in Florida is the weather. These pics are from where Joey and I went to the beach early Feb. This is a new beach we have found that all the locals go to, it is called Micklers Beach. So far we have seen three whales and 2 dolphins here. The shells on this beach are INCREDIBLE. In fact the shells are so thick in some places you have to dig through the shells to find sand.

This pic is funny cause Joey and I were eating a snack and made the mistake of feeding these stupid birds....they kept stalking us : )

He loves to let his feet sink in the sand

Nothing like digging a big hole and sitting in it : ) You can see all the big shells coming in with the tide...lots of sharks teeth too. In fact a man fishing close to us caught a baby shark right where we had just been in the water....glad it was a baby!!!!

Waiting for the big waves....he loves to watch the surfers and act like one

Handyman Joey

We are remodeling the kitchen and Joey Z. decided to join in the fun. Isn't he cute with his little tool belt on?
