Joey Z.: Annual Longboat Key Beach Trip

We went again this year to Little Gull Cottages on Longboat Key and as usual had a wonderful relaxing time. In fact when we walked into our cottage (we always rent #2) Joey said "ah, its good to be home!" and it was great to be back there!!!! Here is our cottage!!!!

Our shell finds, we did find out that the shells in June are not as good as in Sept...but still pretty good with lots of colors and patterns

This year we went to the Mote Aquarium on Longboat twice....Joey LOVED it!!!

We got to see the dolphin feeding and play, absolutely incredible

This Sea Turtle was very interested in Joey....they had a fun time staring at each other for a while.

Then we also did Mini-Golf about four times.....this one had live Gators

We also went to Disney on the way down...and we found a Hidden Donald and Daisy!! Daisy is above Donald's head to the left

We met Bill's family for dinner and lunch. In this pic is Bill, Joey, Gloria (Bill's 2nd Cousin), Oi (Jeff's awesome girlfriend) and Jeff, Gloria's youngest son...we were missing several of the crew on this night and I forgot my camera when we were all together...sorry : )

This Manatee kept swimming by and gently bumping people to play....it was fearless!!! Of course when I saw it coming I could not move fast enough to make sure Joey was not in the water.....it was HUGE!!!!!!
