Joey's 4th Birthday Party - Ben 10 Style

We had Joey's bday party again this year at Pump-it-up, we offered all kinds of other venues...but he would not budge : ) Here he is at the house all decked out in Ben 10 gear and tattoos. He refused to smile, he is being Humongousaur (one of the Ben 10 Aliens)


Then on to Cinotti's Bakery to pick up his cake, you can see he was very excited....don't their pastries look good too!!!!

Annual Longboat Key Beach Trip

We went again this year to Little Gull Cottages on Longboat Key and as usual had a wonderful relaxing time. In fact when we walked into our cottage (we always rent #2) Joey said "ah, its good to be home!" and it was great to be back there!!!! Here is our cottage!!!!

Our shell finds, we did find out that the shells in June are not as good as in Sept...but still pretty good with lots of colors and patterns

This year we went to the Mote Aquarium on Longboat twice....Joey LOVED it!!!

We got to see the dolphin feeding and play, absolutely incredible

We met Bill's family for dinner and lunch. In this pic is Bill, Joey, Gloria (Bill's 2nd Cousin), Oi (Jeff's awesome girlfriend) and Jeff, Gloria's youngest son...we were missing several of the crew on this night and I forgot my camera when we were all together...sorry : )

This Manatee kept swimming by and gently bumping people to play....it was fearless!!! Of course when I saw it coming I could not move fast enough to make sure Joey was not in the water.....it was HUGE!!!!!!

Fathers Day 2009

Even though we were officially in Longboat Key for Fathers Day, the post is going to LONG even without these...so here is Bill's Father Day!!! Happy Fathers Day (belated) to all the wonderful fathers out there, but especially to my husband, the BEST DA ON EARTH!!!!! This year Joey decorated his Da's present all by himself. turned out nice!!!

Star Wars Weekends 2009

As I mentioned earlier we went this year again to Star Wars Weekends, it was LOTS of fun and the characters were way better than last year, I guess due to the popularity of the Clone Wars. Anyway, it was a great time!!!!

This is the original actor who played Chewbacca, in this pic you can't tell, but folks the man is HUGE!!!! His hands were enormous!!!! Very tall!!

Joey loved Ahsoka Tano and she looked great, it was over 95 and HOT, but her skin looked like she had been born orange : )
