Happy Memorial Day and Misc.

Happy Memorial Day!!!! Thank you too all the heroes who keep us safe and free!!
I thought this pic fittingfor the holiday ...As I mentioned before, we are cleaning out our attic and Bill found these great old Army helmets in one of his boxes. Him and Joey had a great time playing with them. Doesn't Joey look adorable : ) and very much like his Dad here
Wearing Da's shoes around the house, the boy loves his Da and does EVERYTHING Da does.

Joey's pals Jacob and Benjamin came over for some play time...handsome boys!!!
All three eating some good Popsicles...they each had three that day!
Look at those faces...can you tell I caught them trying to climb on Daisy and ride her like a horse and then they were trying to get her to eat rocks.....boys are funny creatures :)

Mine!

Many of you will remember this little blue sling (sat on the coffee table) that we used to lay Joey in as a newborn... he learned to rollover so quickly we didn't get to use it for long. Now we are trying to clean out our attic and I brought it down to donate to the Salvation Army, but.....

In typical toddler fashion Joey claimed it as still being "mine!" and carried it himself from the garage inside and made it his chair for a day or two. He is a little tall for it now!!!!! I am waiting for an opportunity to sneak it away.... even though a part of me LOVES seeing the glimmer of baby still left in him when he asks me to rock it and sing to him while he lays there.

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful mothers, aunts, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, etc.... who have made a positive influence in my life and the life of my son. We had a wonderful day! Bill and Joey made me French Puffs for breakfast and brought me roses in bed. I am SO THANKFUL to God for the best gift of my life, Joey!
Helping me open my gifts...I think he is going to claim my Godiva chocolates : )
Giving me my card, he was very serious about giving it to me and then he ran and hugged me...very cute how he wanted my approval of his card....and of course his worry is for nothing since I think everything he does is great!

Then we went to the Edison Park Steakhouse with the Gallmans, Roberts, Foxes, etc... we were quite a gang and as usual had a BLAST!! Unfortunately I did not get as many photos..a.I was too busy having fun:)
sp
Here are three generations of Mothers (well Molly is a Mom to he furbabies..they count too!) Beautiful women!!!!! Makes me proud to call the family!!!
Joey giving Molly kisses and hugs as usual!!!!!

That evening we went to visit Nana...here Joey is giving her a rose!

And then giving her some good kisses!!!! He sure does LOVE his Nana and we thank God for her being such a great-grandmother (pun intended : ) influence in his life and in ours!!

Day Out with Thomas

Sunday afternoon we headed to the Chattanooga Railroad Museum for a Day out with Joey's favorite train Thomas. I am not sure if I have ever seen him that excited (maybe when he saw Santa).
Here is Bill and Joey walking in to see all the cool trains!
Of course we had to visit Sir Top 'm Hat....Joey was so thrilled, just look at that smile!
And the petting zoo, Joey really wanted to see the cows, but being the overprotective Mother that I am I did not let him pet the animals since there were not any nearby facilities for washing. But he watched them and said moo at them : )
Then he got his pic with both parents in front of Thomas, it was all we could do to get him to look at the camera and not Thomas. He kept saying "Hi Thom"

Waiting in line to board the train with great anticipation.

Giving his very own ticket to the conductor
A very happy and excited boy to be on board Thomas!!!!!!!

Timeout to give Mama a kiss!!! Sweet boy

Watching the world go by in awe

Waving Bye-bye to Thomas and the Conductor
